Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and Aviation and Tourism Journalists Forum (ATJFB) have organized a workshop for reporters covering the country’s aviation sector.
The workshop titled ‘Media Workshop on ICAO Annex-9 Facilitation’ held at the conference room-1 of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) Tuesday, under the supervision of HSIA authority.
CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman inaugurated the workshop, a press release said.
HSIA Executive Director Group Captain M. Kamrul Islam presided over the event while ATJFB President and Bangladesh Sangbad Sangtha (BSS) special correspondent Tanzim Anwar also addressed the workshop.
The workshop focused on various topics including International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex-9, airport customs and immigration procedures, public health measures, government-provided airport facilities, flight operations, and other technical issues relevant to airports.
ATJFB General Secretary and Chief Correspondent of Asian TV Baten Biplob gave the concluding speech at the workshop.
Later, the CAAB Chairman presented certificates to the participants.
