National Bank Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pinata Air International Limited, a subsidiary of the Sheltech Group. The MoU signing ceremony took at the head office of Pinata Air International Limited place on January 3, 2024. The agreement documents were signed by Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO (current charge) of National Bank Limited and SK. Bashir Ahmed Mamun, Vice Chairman of the Sheltech Group on behalf of respective organizations.
Under this agreement, National Bank Limited will provide outward remittance services along with other modern banking facilities favoring British Airways on behalf of Pinata Air International Limited.
Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar, Chairman of National Bank, Kutubuddin Ahmed, Chairman of Envoy Legacy & Sheltech Group, and Md. Mehmood Husain, Former Managing Director & CEO of National Bank were present at the ceremony. Among others, Md. Shahidul Islam, EVP & Head of CRM Division, Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Mithu, SVP & Head of Treasury Division, Rabby Ahmed Chowdhury, VP & Head of International Division of National Bank and Rezaur Rahman Sohag, Advisor of Sheltech Group along with other high officials from both organizations were present.
